Student Activities

As an ICP student, you will have access to the University facilities.  Not only does this include the library, computer suites and employment services, but it also means you can join the University’s clubs or societies.

We understand that the main reason you will be in Portsmouth is to study, but it is important to take part in extra-curricular activities if there is a particular sport or hobby that you are interested in.

The University has a wide range of sports clubs that you will be able to join, ranging from football to cricket, taekwondo to gymnastics, hockey to basketball as well as a whole number of others.

You can also meet people with similar interests to yourself by joining one of the University of Portsmouth’s societies.  These include religious societies, such as the Islamic Society, the Christian Union and the Sikh Society, as well as groups catering to specific interests such as the Law Society, the Computer Gamers and the Anime Society.

Whatever your passion or your interest may be, there will be a chance to indulge it while studying in Portsmouth, having fun and meeting new people with similar interests in the process.

For more information about the huge number of University of Portsmouth clubs and societies currently available, take a look at the Students’ Union website.
